By using TidyCrop, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
TidyCrop provides a free, browser-based tool for cropping, resizing, compressing, converting, and arranging photos for print. The tool runs on your device; you are responsible for your own internet connection, browser, and hardware.
Advertising
TidyCrop displays third-party advertisements through Google AdSense to help keep the service free. Ads are provided by third parties and are not endorsements by TidyCrop. We do not control the content of third-party ads and are not responsible for products, services, or websites advertised.
Your use of TidyCrop is also subject to the privacy practices of advertising partners described in our Privacy Policy, including how cookies and similar technologies may be used to serve and measure ads. Your photo files are never shared with advertisers.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use TidyCrop to:
- Process content you do not have the right to use or distribute
- Violate applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse the site or its code
- Interfere with the display or measurement of advertisements
- Misrepresent TidyCrop as an official service of any government, employer, or third party
You are solely responsible for how you use exported images, including compliance with ID photo, passport, visa, and platform-specific requirements.
No professional advice
Guides and presets on TidyCrop are provided for convenience. They are not legal, immigration, or official photography advice. Always confirm requirements with the relevant authority or platform.
Intellectual property
TidyCrop's name, branding, interface, and code are owned by TidyCrop and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to photos and files you process with the tool.
Disclaimer of warranties
TidyCrop is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of output dimensions, or uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TidyCrop and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or opportunities arising from your use of the service — including rejected ID photos, platform upload failures, or print quality issues.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Last updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of TidyCrop after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable where TidyCrop is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
